[INT. FAMILY LIVING ROOM – EVENING]
The parents, visibly frustrated, stand facing their daughter, who looks defensive but a little guilty.
MOM:
Do you have any idea how much money you’ve spent this month? It’s like you think it just grows on trees!
DAD:
This isn’t your bank account. You can’t just buy whatever you want like it’s yours to waste!
DAUGHTER:
I’m just treating myself! I work hard, I deserve it.
MOM:
Treating yourself? You think buying designer bags and expensive gadgets every week is “treating yourself”? That’s reckless!
DAD:
You’re not a kid anymore. You need to start understanding responsibility. Money doesn’t come from nowhere.
DAUGHTER:
I’m careful! I have my own job and my own money!
MOM:
That job barely covers half your expenses! And the rest comes from us. You can’t keep draining our accounts.
DAD:
If you want to keep spending like this, don’t expect us to keep bailing you out.
The daughter lowers her gaze, realizing they mean business but still frustrated.
