[INT. COFFEE SHOP – DAY]

Bea (Sydney Sweeney), a law student at Boston University, enters a bustling coffee shop. She approaches the counter, clearly in need of the restroom.

BEA:
Excuse me, could I use your restroom?

BARISTA (abruptly):
Restroom’s for customers only.

Bea glances at the long line of customers waiting to order, frustration evident on her face.

BEA:
I understand, but I really need to go. Is there any way I could—?

BARISTA (interrupting):
Policy’s policy.

Bea sighs, considering her options. Nearby, Ben (Glen Powell), a Goldman Sachs employee, overhears the exchange. He notices Bea’s discomfort and steps forward.

BEN (smiling):
To the barista
I’ll take her order. To Bea
Honey, what’ll it be?

Bea looks at him, surprised by his sudden intervention.

BEA (hesitant):
Uh… a coffee, please.

Ben places the order, paying for it himself.

BEN (to Bea):
Go ahead. I’ll hold your spot in line.

Bea nods gratefully and heads to the restroom. Meanwhile, Ben waits, holding her coat and bread, untucking and retucking his shirt nervously.

Inside the restroom, Bea manages to soak the front of her jeans with water. She struggles to dry them, inadvertently straddling the hand dryer, causing a loud noise that draws attention from everyone in the shop.

Bea exits the restroom, flustered. Ben notices her discomfort.

BEN (concerned):
You okay?

Bea looks down, realizing she has a toilet seat cover stuck to her shoe.

BEA (embarrassed):
Oh no.

Ben chuckles softly.

BEN:
You might want to take care of that.

Bea laughs, grateful for his kindness.

BEA:
Thanks… for everything.

They share a moment of connection, the beginning of an unexpected friendship.
