I woke up to a knock on the door. I opened it and it was my neighbor, looking worried and sad.
Her: “Gosh, I’m so sorry, Rachel… How are you holding up? If you need anything, I’m here.”
Me: “Help?! With what? What do you mean?”
Her, confused: “You haven’t seen your fiance’s car?”
I immediatelly ran outside and… just froze when I saw what she was talking about! WHAT THE HELL?!! Someone had spray-painted on our car: “YOU PICKED THE WRONG GUY, GAVE HIM THE WRONG FINGER!”
I was furious. I rushed inside and woke my fiancé up. He denied everything—said he had no idea what it was about. Sure, we hadn’t gotten around to installing cameras in our yard yet. Lord, I was so disappointed.
But then I got it—our neighbor’s cameras face our driveway! So, I rushed over there, heart pounding. The neighbor pulled up the footage right away. And, oh God…
