A video is going viral after a young woman calmly filming in what she claimed was a public area was aggressively confronted by a private security guard — who demanded she stop recording, threatened her, and eventually called the police.

The clip starts with the woman filming a scenic spot outside a city building — reportedly a courthouse or government plaza. Within seconds, a security guard approaches and says:

“You can’t film here. Turn that off. Now.”

The woman, confused but calm, replies:

“I’m on public property. I’m allowed to film.”

The guard becomes increasingly hostile, stepping closer and attempting to block the camera with his hand.

“I said STOP recording. You’re going to get yourself arrested,” he shouts.

Instead of backing down, she holds her ground.

“Call whoever you want. I’m not breaking any law.”

The video shows the guard pulling out a radio and calling for police backup — all while continuing to yell at her. Multiple bystanders can be heard supporting the girl, with one person saying, “She’s allowed to film! It’s public!”

🚨 No Laws Broken — But Police Still Showed Up

Eventually, police arrive — but after reviewing the situation, they did not arrest or charge the girl. Officers confirmed she was within her rights, and that filming on public property is legal.

The video has since exploded on TikTok and Instagram, with users praising the woman’s calmness and knowledge of her rights.

“She handled it like a boss,” one comment read.
Another said: “THIS is why people film. So we all see how power gets abused.”

Civil rights groups are now calling for an investigation into the security company’s practices.
