Person 1 (approaching the guy, frowning):
“Hey, what are you doing? Why are you filming me?”
Guy (nonchalantly, still snapping photos):
“Just taking some shots. It’s a cool scene, you know? Nothing personal.”
Person 2 (joining in, looking frustrated):
“You can’t just take pictures of people without their consent. That’s messed up.”
Guy (shrugging, not looking up from his camera):
“It’s a public place. I can film anything. Relax.”
Person 3 (irritated, crossing their arms):
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean you can just invade our privacy like that. Some people don’t want to be filmed.”
Guy (finally lowering his camera a bit, but still defensive):
“I’m not invading anyone’s privacy. It’s just a shot. I’m not hurting anybody.”
Person 1 (getting closer, firm):
“That doesn’t mean it’s okay. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Ask first.”
Person 2 (nodding):
“Yeah, we’re not your personal subjects. Put the camera down.”
Guy (sighing, a little annoyed but still trying to reason):
“Look, I didn’t mean to upset anyone. I’m just doing my thing. It’s not that serious.”
Person 3 (more forceful):
“It is serious when you make people uncomfortable. Respect people’s space.”
[The guy hesitates, then looks around, realizing several others are watching the scene unfold. He eventually puts the camera down.]
Guy (reluctantly):
“Alright, alright. I’ll stop.”
Person 1 (calming down):
“Good. Thank you.”
