[Scene: Ellen’s studio — lights bright, crowd cheering. Cate Blanchett walks out in a sleek suit, waving with that graceful, slightly mysterious smile. She hugs Ellen, then sits cross-legged like she owns the chair.]

Ellen:
You always look like you’re about to deliver a TED Talk and steal someone’s heart at the same time.

Cate (smirking):
Only if I’m well-caffeinated… and mildly chaotic.

[Audience laughs.]

Ellen:
I heard you dance alone in your dressing room before interviews. Is that true?

Cate:
Yes. It’s either that or primal screaming into a pillow. Dancing’s better for my eyeliner.

[Cue quick flashback montage: Cate dancing awkwardly but confidently backstage, sunglasses on, hairbrush as a mic.]

Ellen (laughing):
You’re officially my favorite kind of weird.

Cate (deadpan):
I’ll take that as a compliment. And a diagnosis.

[The crowd erupts. Cate raises an eyebrow like a Bond villain. Cut to commercial.]
