We’ve all been there—sitting at dinner, trying to enjoy your meal and conversation, when someone walks up and hits you with the most polite greeting ever:
“Always good to see you.”

In this classic scene from Two and a Half Men, the guy’s casual tone suggests he’s just being friendly. But as he leans in to greet the woman at the table, there’s that extra level of charm that leaves the rest of the room wondering: What’s going on here?

Charlie Sheen’s character, completely unbothered, gives his signature “I’m fine with this” face, while the rest of the table sits there, half confused, half entertained. It’s a greeting that feels just a little too warm, and we can’t help but wonder if it’s making everyone else feel a bit… uncomfortable.

Moral of the story?
If someone’s being a little too friendly, sometimes it’s best to just nod, smile, and pretend like you’re not internally asking, Are they being that nice on purpose?
